G Evan Mathis
On whether it has been a good season for him to start building for his future in the National Football League: "Absolutely. Yeah. I mean, I look at this as being the start of my career having been bouncing around the first six years and now I can finally start now that I'm actually being allowed to play."
On whether RB LeSean McCoy making the Pro Bowl is important to the offensive line: "Oh yeah, absolutely. It's great for us and we love that he made the Pro Bowl and we love that we helped clear the way for him to do that. I mean he's very deserving. He probably could have done half of the work without us with about anybody out there."
On whether there is a difference to him now than in previous years: "The main thing for me is there are so many areas you can improve as a player. And for an offensive lineman it comes down to mainly technique and I've learned a lot of technique under (offensive line coach) Howard (Mudd's) system and I worked really, really hard in the offseason to maintain my best physical shape. So I've always been focused on improving and not staying the same or not taking a step back and I'm going to continue to do that."
On his contract situation: "I'm a free agent (after the season)."
On whether he would like to be in an Eagles uniform next year: "Yeah, I'd love to be here. I think I'm a good fit here, but we'll see what happens later."
On whether his goal was to come in and start: "That was my goal. I did everything I could to make it happen and fortunately, in this situation, it fit."
On whether McCoy is going to buy the offensive line anything: "Yeah, he can take us to McDonald's or something."
On his thoughts about playing next to Pro Bowl teammate LT Jason Peters: "He's a great player and it's great when you can work with someone like that who's really athletic. You don't have to do any extra help or wait for him to catch up with me on certain blocks. And just watching him play on the field and on film he does some amazing things."
CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
On whether he prefers to play in the outside cornerback position: "You can put me anywhere as long as I'm on that field. It doesn't matter to me, inside, outside, I just want to play that's it."
On whether he sees an opportunity these last couple weeks to show what he can do on the outside: "Not really and not at the end of the season, it's just another chance to go out and play."
On whether he would like to keep improving at the slot cornerback position: "Yeah, you know that's where they had me picked to be and I want to finish out the year strong. But whether or not, whether it's outside or inside it doesn't matter."
On how he would best describe coming to a new team and how the year went for him: "You know, it was tough. For a long time I just had to keep my head down and keep grinding and that's how I've always been. I'm not going to complain too much, I'm not going to say too much, I'm just going to grind it out."
On whether this season has been a humbling experience: "Always. You come into the season used to making plays, and then you come in and you're not really do anything and getting beat on plays you shouldn't get beat on it's a humbling experience because it brings you back to reality. When you think you know something there's always something else that you don't know."
DT Cullen Jenkins
On his thoughts about going 8-8 after winning a Super Bowl: "That's just how this league is. Shoot, it's eight years for me now and that's how it goes, you have up and down years and you can't get too high in the up times and you can't get too low in the down times. You know, you have to try to find what you can out of it to help you try to improve or help you get better and that's just the way you have to look at it."
On whether there's anything to winning the last four games and building towards next year: "Oh yeah, it's something that's huge. Even if you look at Green Bay, what we did at the end of the season last year and that carried over with them into this year, and that's happened to us a couple times out there when I was there. So I think it's something that, especially for the young guys or the people coming in is that you kind of get a taste of that winning like, 'Man, we won four games straight, we can do this.' So then for all of the young guys their approach for next year will be wanting to go through that again, they don't want to go through the losing part, and then they know that we have the ability to do that."
On his thoughts about what defensive coordinator Juan Castillo has improved upon: "I think it's more with the players and I think it's a lot more experience with everybody playing together. I think people are really stepping up and making plays when they're put in a position to, as for earlier in the season we weren't doing that very well. And obviously, when that happens it all reflects on the coaches."
On whether he thinks Castillo has put the players in better positions or the players are just making plays: "The players have just stepped it up more. We were put in a good position earlier and we didn't come away with the plays or the victories when we needed them."
On his thoughts about why the players weren't making plays in the beginning of the year: "I think, maybe it was an adjustment, maybe it was just not having a sense of urgency or unity. You know, there's a lot of things that you can sit there and think about, but we just, for whatever reason, didn't do it early, but we've pulled together. This team has had a lot of resolve and a lot of fight in them and that's good because that's something that you have to have, something you look for."
C Jason Kelce
On his thoughts about the team's motivation against the Redskins: "I mean, (head coach) Andy (Reid) definitely reminds us, but like I said I'm going to go out there and play hard, that's just the nature of how I was brought up and everything else."
On his thoughts about G Evan Mathis being in the last year of his contract: "Mathis has been awesome. I think he's, probably, one of the more underrated guards in the NFL; I think he may have gotten snubbed a little bit in the Pro Bowl voting. But he's a guy that's been very helpful in my role in trying to bring me along as a rookie. And it would be great to have him back."
On his thoughts about playing alongside Peters on the offensive line: "His body of work speaks for itself. Athletically, he's probably one the most gifted athletes at tackle in the NFL. And he just has everything you look for in a tackle."
On his thoughts about the most important lesson he gained from this season: "It's been so much, it's not like one thing has been stand out and that's the biggest thing that has helped me. I think it's been…there's so many different things that I've learned through this process that to pick out one would be too hard."
On the importance of keeping the continuity of the offensive line together for next season: "I mean, I think continuity along offensive lines is one of the most important things on the field. Hopefully we can keep it together and keep improving, this week, again on Sunday if we can come up with a win and the offensive line improves it just pushes us into next year."
QB Michael Vick
On whether it's a natural human tendency to relax a little more knowing that the team can't make the playoffs: "I mean absolutely, I think at the end of the day you just want to go out there and play with a sense of pride. You know things didn't go the way we wanted them to go and you just can't say that because we're out of the playoffs that we're just going to lay down and not finish the season strong. I think there are a lot of positives that we can take out of this last game, ending the season on a four game winning streak going into next season. So there are things that you can look on the bright side on and a lot of positive things that we can take away from the last four games we played."
On whether he is disappointed by the outcome of this season: "Yeah, obviously 8-8 wasn't the goal; we expected to be in the postseason but things didn't go that way and we just have to finish on a good note and finish strong. And that's what we're playing for now and nothing's going to change with me sitting here talking about what could've been or what should've been, that won't change. So I think we have to take all of the positives from this situation and move forward, and hopefully things will turn around for us and it will."
