OAKLAND -- Quarterback Nick Foles tied an NFL record with seven passing touchdowns in a single game on Sunday. With 4:28 remaining in the third quarter, Foles connected with wide receiver Riley Cooper for a 5-yard touchdown to tie the record.
Matt Barkley went in for Foles with 9:23 remaining in the game. Foles finished 22-of-28 (79 percent) for 406 yards with seven touchdowns and a perfect 158.3 quarterback rating.
Foles is the seventh quarterback in pro football history to throw seven touchdown passes in a single game joining: Joe Kapp, Sid Luckman, former Eagle Adrian Burk, George Blanda, Y.A. Tittle and Peyton Manning.
