Philadelphia Eagles News

TE Trey Burton Inactive For Bears

The following Eagles will be inactive for this afternoon's playoff game against the Chicago Bears: linebacker D.J. Alexander, defensive tackle Bruce Hector, cornerback Sidney Jones, wide receiver Mike Wallace, offensive lineman Matt Pryor, offensive lineman Chance Warmack, and quarterback Carson Wentz.

For the Bears, inactives are: tight end Trey Burton, offensive lineman Rashaad Coward, guard Eric Kush, linebacker Aaron Lynch, wide receiver Kevin White, defensive tackle Nick Williams, and wide receiver Javon Wims.

All four Eagles who were listed as questionable (defensive end Michael Bennett, cornerback Avonte Maddox, tackle Jason Peters, and guard Isaac Seumalo) will be active for the Eagles today.

In a surprise, the Bears listed Burton as questionable last night with a groin injury. Burton, the Bears' fourth-leading receiver and starting tight end, has been ruled out for this afternoon's game. Starting safety Eddie Jackson has missed the last two games for the Bears with an ankle injury. He is active but will be a game-time decision.
