With a game against the Seattle Seahawks just three days away, the Eagles held a walkthrough practice fewer than 24 hours after their loss to the New England Patriots. Because it was merely a walkthrough, as opposed to a full practice, the injury participation designations for the day are based upon projections made by the team's trainers and coaches.
For the seventh-straight time, quarterback Michael Vick did not participate in practice. The 10-year veteran is nursing two broken ribs and has missed the last two games because of the injury. If he cannot go, backup Vince Young could get his third-straight start. The 6-5 quarterback threw for exactly 400 yards in Sunday's loss.
Missing practice again was wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who is hampered by hamstring and shoulder injuries. If the three-year veteran is unavailable again after missing the team's last two games, second-year man Riley Cooper will likely start alongside DeSean Jackson. Although Cooper said that he "doesn't know what the injury situation will be Thursday," he'll be "ready to go" if called upon.
Two of the Eagles' top cornerbacks, Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, are working their ways back from injury. Asomugha played Sunday despite suffering a knee injury in practice the previous Thursday. Rodgers-Cromartie was listed as a limited participant due to a lingering high-ankle sprain but said that there is "no chance" that he will suit up against the Seahawks on the unforgiving turf of CenturyLink Field.
Offensive lineman King Dunlap (concussion) missed practice, as did linebacker Moise Fokou (ankle). Listed as limited were defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins (thumb) and running back LeSean McCoy (toe), both of whom are expected to play Thursday.
