It was bound to happen. Before the end of the summer, every NFL team will be part of the league's web site umbrella and operating system. There is a different look and feel here, obviously, but we aim to continue to please Eagles fans on a daily basis with our wall-to-wall coverage of your favorite football team.
By being part of the NFL platform, we are to take advantage of the NFL's technology and deliver that to you. We are also going to present our unique touch on coverage -- a lot of live looks wherever the Eagles go, one-on-one interviews that are exclusive for you, and more team involvement than ever before in the content delivered to you every day.
We urge you to take some time to get to know the site. The work stoppage has, of course, rendered the normal hustle-and-bustle of activity at this time of the year to a minimum, with all of the focus on the April 28 draft. We want you to become familiar with the ins and outs of the site and the way it works best for you. That includes the Message Boards, which are completely new and fresh and ready for Eagles fans to digest.
Speaking of the NFL draft, we are live beginning on Wednesday, April 27 at 11 a.m. We hope you join us then to find out what the Eagles have planned for their 10 draft picks.
Thanks for joining the new PhiladelphiaEagles.com. It has been a long time since we shifted gears, so we are treating this as a new, fresh start that we hope you will enjoy. I welcome all of your feedback and constructive criticism, and look forward to making this the best site in all of sports and beyond.
