QB Kevin Kolb
On how ready he is to get the season started: "Yeah, I'm very ready just like I was ready for training camp when it came. There's so much talking and so much anticipation for what's to come. We have a great battle that first week. Green Bay is a heck of a team. We're looking forward to getting out there and seeing what we've got and hopefully get the (win)."
On how personally disappointed he was on not recording a passing touchdown in the preseason: "Yeah, it doesn't affect me that much. It's not weighing on me at all. We always are trying to focus on the red zone and getting better in the red zone. We're always pushing to do that. Just because I didn't throw one or whatever, it doesn't hurt me at all. I'm just looking forward to saving them all for the season, hopefully."
CB Jorrick Calvin
On how he approaches Thursday night's game against the Jets: "Yeah, just play ball. Just go out and play ball no matter what. The calls that I do know, just play them to the best of my ability and I'm just hoping to make some plays."
On how surprised he is to find himself here in Philadelphia: "Pretty surprised, pretty surprised, but I'm happy. I'm happy where I'm at."
On how familiar he is with the scheme already: "Coach has been working with me today, just learning the plays and learning the different positions. Not positions, but just the different defenses. The defense is pretty similar to what we ran in college, so I'm kind of acclimated to what we're running already. Just more reps at it and I'll be better off at it."
On whether he's ready to be put in the return game on Thursday: "Yeah, I'm pretty excited about that because that's one of my main things. I love to return. You play defense, you can't touch the ball too much, so I just want to go back to those high school days and just get your hands on the ball and move around with it."
On whether he does kickoff or punt returns: "Both."
WR Chad Hall
On not trying to do too much, but still making sure he does his job: "Sometimes I think like that. I try to do – I don't try, but I think sometimes before a play or something to make this a good one. But then right before, you know, I'm like, 'just play my game.' Those thoughts do come in my head, but at the end, I'm just trying to do what I should do. The good thing is the big plays will happen on their own. Just go out there and do my job, but do it fast. Play real fast."
On a dropped pass in today's practice and whether he feels there's a greater weight on missed plays: "No. I did that in training camp. I remember there was a span of three days where I had probably six drops and those were the only drops I had all training camp. It was right in the middle. For those three days, you know, after my first two, it was like, I put so much pressure on myself. Then I learned from it and until today, that one, I haven't had a drop since. I learned from it in training camp. I did. It's almost like I have this mental block before every play. I got rid of that, you know, three, four weeks ago and I've done great; just playing. Just going out there and playing like I always have and I don't even worry about it."
WR Hank Baskett
On his views of the final preseason game when he was a rookie: "Well, I was definitely excited. Like I finally get to go out there and play; get some more playing time. And I still think it's the same. You want to go out there. Any chance you get to step on the field in an NFL game – whether it's preseason, regular season, postseason – whatever, you've got to be excited for that opportunity because there's a lot of people that give a lot to be in this situation. I'm just thankful that I've been blessed to be able to do this and I just want to continue doing this, so I've got to go out there and do my best. I say it every year, make the decision hard."
