The Eagles made a roster move on Tuesday evening, promoting wide receiver Jonathan Krause to the active roster. Krause, 5-11, 190 pounds, was signed to the Eagles' practice squad on September 22nd after being released by the New England Patriots three days prior. To make room for Krause, the Eagles released linebacker Emmanuel Acho.

Krause, a college teammate of Jordan Matthews at Vanderbilt, made 26 starts during his college career while putting up career highs in every major receiving category as a senior in 2013. With the Commodores, he totaled 98 catches for 1,197 yards and three touchdowns.

Acho, a versatile inside linebacker, was signed by the Eagles in early November of this season. Acho has bounced back and forth between the Eagles active roster and practice squad over the past few seasons, and he was originally acquired in a 2013 trade with the Cleveland Browns.
