Behind The Scenes: Jeffrey Lurie, Roger Goodell, And The Players Coalition
Chairman and CEO Jeffery Lurie, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, and Eagles Malcolm Jenkins, Torrey Smith, Rodney McLeod, and Chris Long met with Philadelphia officials to gain perspective on criminal justice reform.
The day included meetings with Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross Jr., grassroots activists from Why Not Prosper, The Center for Returning Citizens, Mothers in Charge, Frontline Dads, ACLU Campaign for Smart Justice, Youth Sentencing and Re-Entry Project, and the Restorative Justice Program – Mural Arts Philadelphia. In addition, the group attended bail bond hearings and discussed bail bond reform with Defender Association of Philadelphia.
