The Eagles spent their day off from practice with a relaxing afternoon at FDR Park

The weather in South Philadelphia was picture perfect

Before heading out to the dock, the Eagles received some intructions and information about the Mid-Atlantic Youth Anglers

Cody Parkey, Chris Maragos, Mark Sanchez and Bryan Braman were all in attendanceÂ

Hoping for a bite

Peace and quiet on the waterfront

All eyes on the water hoping for the first catch of the day

And there it is. Nice catch!

According to the National Junior Anglers (NJA), exposing young adults to fishing and boating activities can foster critical life skills such as leadership, time management and concentration

The Mid-Atlantic Youth Anglers & Outdoors Program is an initiative of the NJA that focuses its mission on exposing and training urban region youth through scholarship-awarding fishing, boating and archery activitiesÂ

Not a bad way to spend a day off. Now it's on to Dallas!
