The Eagles announced on Monday that they agreed to terms with linebacker Stephen Tulloch. Learn more about the NFL veteran and what he brings to the organization.

Last season, Tulloch amassed 107 tackles with the Detroit Lions. He recorded 100 tackles or more in four of his five seasons in Detroit.

Tulloch was originally darfted out of North Carolina State by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2006 draft.

A versatile linebacker, Tulloch has recorded 14.5 career sacks, 12 fumble recoveries and five interceptions over his 10-year career.

Tulloch has a history with Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Schwartz was his defensive coordinator in Tennessee for three seasons and was his head coach in Detroit for three seasons as well.

Tulloch will likely serve as backup middle linebacker to Jordan Hicks, but he also has the ability to play both outside linebacker positions in Schwartz's 4-3 scheme as well.
