WR Miles Austin has been in the NFL for nine seasons after signing with the Dallas Cowboys as a non-drafted free agent in 2006

Throughout his career, Austin has accumulated 5,049 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns

Austin eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark twice in his career (2009 and 2010). He was selected to the Pro Bowl in both of those years

Austin became only the 15th undrafted NFL player to break 1,000 yards receiving

He set a Dallas Cowboys single-game record with 250 receiving yards in his first career start

Austin is a native of Summit, N.J. and stayed in New Jersey for college as he attended Monmouth University, where he majored in History

He left Monmouth as the school's all-time leader in TD catches (33), receptions (150), and receiving yards (2,867)

As a senior, he set a school record by having 14 receiving touchdowns to accompany his 1,101 yards on 51 catches

Prior to college, Austin attended Garfield High School in N.J. where he played both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and defensive back

Not only excelling in football, Austin was also a member of the school's basketball and track and field teams

On the court, Austin scored 1,028 career points for the basketball team

Austin threw the javelin in track and field and recorded Bergen County's (N.J.) second-longest throw in history (214' 8")

He has been an active member in the community and began the Austin Family Foundation, which aims to support and promote youth programming in low-income areas through character development and community involvement

Austin has also volunteered his time with the Salvation Army and the Make-a-Wish Foundation
