Mike Mayock's Top Five QBs
NFL Network and Eagles preseason analyst Mike Mayock released his list of the top five draft prospects at each position. Here are the quarterbacks ...

No. 1: Carson Wentz, North Dakota State. Led the Bison to back-to-back FCS National Championships. Threw for 3,111 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior. Returned from a broken wrist as a senior for the championship game this past season.

No. 2: Jared Goff, Cal. First freshman to start in Week 1 in school history. This past season, the first-team All-Pac-12 selection set conference records with 4,719 passing yards and 43 touchdowns.

No. 3: Paxton Lynch, Memphis. The 6-7, 245-pound Lynch was a three-year starter at Memphis. Guided Tigers to 8-0 start in 2015. Threw for 3,778 yards and 28 touchdowns against just four interceptions as a junior last season.

No. 4: Connor Cook, Michigan State. The Big Ten Quarterback of the Year threw for 3,131 yards and 24 touchdowns while leading the Spartans to the College Football Playoff. Was a two-time MVP in the Big Ten title games.

No. 5: Dak Prescott, Mississippi State. Put the Bulldogs on the national radar in 2014 leading team to 10-3 record. Two-time, first-team All-SEC selection. Joined Tim Tebow as only players in SEC history to lead team in passing and rushing in consecutive seasons. Set 38 school records in his career. Won MVP honors at Senior Bowl.
