Players To Watch: Lions
As the Eagles prepare to face off against the Detroit Lions for the first time since Thanksgiving 2015, we take a look at some of the key players they must contain in order to secure a win this year.
QB Matthew Stafford has played all eight of his NFL seasons with the Lions. Stafford has accumulated 27,174 passing yards, 170 passing touchdowns, 708 rushing yards, and 12 rushing touchdowns over the course of his career.
WR Golden Tate is a seven-year NFL veteran who has played for both the Seattle Seahawks and the Detroit Lions. Tate has 4,434 receiving yards and 25 receiving touchdowns throughout the past seven seasons.
TE Eric Ebron is now in his third NFL season, all with the Lions. In 2016, Ebron has already tallied 18 receptions for 210 yards and 1 touchdown.
WR Marvin Jones, Jr. is in his first season with the Lions, his fifth NFL season overall. Jones, Jr. has 23 receptions for 482 yards and two touchdowns in the past four games.
