Joe Kasper rejoined the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2024 offseason when he was hired as the team's safeties coach following a one-year stint serving in the same capacity with the Miami Dolphins in 2023.

Working on Vic Fangio's defensive staff in Miami, Kasper helped tutor a unit that finished third in the league in sacks (56), eighth in takeaways (27, tied), and 10th in total defense (318.3 ypg). Under Kasper's guidance, Jevon Holland was voted a Pro Bowl alternate after producing 73 tackles (51 solo), four passes defended, including an interception returned for a touchdown, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 12 games.

Prior to the Dolphins, Kasper spent the 2021-22 seasons working as a defensive quality control coach with the Eagles.

In 2022, when Philadelphia advanced to Super Bowl LVII after its 14-3 regular-season campaign, Kasper assisted a defense that totaled the third-most sacks (70, tied) in NFL history, behind the 1984 Bears (72) and 1989 Vikings (71). He also helped the Eagles rank first in passing defense (179.8 ypg) while registering the fourth-most takeaways (27, tied).

During the 2021 season, Kasper contributed to a defense that ranked 10th in opponent yards allowed per game (328.8 ypg). In addition, the Eagles tied for the second-most defensive touchdowns (five) in the league.

Before arriving in Philadelphia, Kasper spent three years as a graduate assistant at Duke, where he worked with the quarterbacks (2020) and defensive backs (2018-19). In 2019, the Blue Devils ranked third in the ACC and 24th nationally with 199.0 passing yards allowed per game. He also helped Duke finish fourth in the conference in passing defense (199.5 ypg) and fifth in opponent passer efficiency rating (118.4) during the 2018 season.

Prior to his stint with the Blue Devils, Kasper mentored the wide receivers at John Carroll in 2017. He also spent the 2015-16 seasons coaching the defensive backs at Mentor (OH) High School, his alma mater.

From 2013-14, Kasper served as a player personnel and development assistant with the Cleveland Browns.

Kasper played collegiately at Baldwin Wallace (Berea, OH), where he was a three-year letterwinner at safety and earned Academic All-America honors before graduating in 2015 with a degree in political science.

Kasper and his girlfriend, Tiffany, currently reside in Cherry Hill, NJ.
