From 2013-20, Walls was a member of the Green Bay Packers' scouting department. After being hired as an intern in 2013, Walls advanced through the ranks as a scouting assistant (2014) and NFS scout (2015-17) before he eventually took over the Southwest region as an area scout in 2017.
In 2023, Walls joined the executive board of National Football Scouting (NFS), which is a group that evaluates college players and organizes scouting reports for the NFL while helping coordinate the NFL Scouting Combine.
Walls attended Old Dominion, where he played offensive line and also served as a student assistant/offensive quality control coach (2010-11) and as a defensive graduate assistant coach (2012). He graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in sports management and received his master's degree in public administration.
Walls gained additional professional experience in the summer of 2013 working as a constituent-services intern at the U.S. Congressional office of Randy Forbes. He helped manage the district office's federal cases and acted as a liaison between district constituents and Congressman Forbes.
