Philadelphia Eagles

Ian Cunningham, who enters his 14th NFL season and fifth overall with the Philadelphia Eagles, was elevated to director of player personnel during the 2021 offseason.

In his new role, Cunningham oversees the college scouting department while also doing crossover work on the pro scouting side in collaboration with co-director of player personnel Brandon Brown.

Before his promotion, Cunningham served as the Eagles' assistant director of player personnel for two seasons (2019-20). He began his Philadelphia tenure as the director of college scouting (2017-18).

Prior to joining the Eagles' staff, Cunningham spent the first nine years of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. He originally joined the Ravens as a player personnel assistant (2008-12) and then worked as a Southeast area scout (2013-14) and Southeast/Southwest area scout (2015-16) during his final four seasons with the team.

Cunningham earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia in 2007 and went on to earn a master's in education in 2008.

A former offensive lineman, Cunningham started 31 games for the Cavaliers and earned honorable mention freshman All-America accolades from Rivals.com as well as ACC All-Freshman Team recognition from The Sporting News. Following his collegiate career, he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2008.

A standout offensive and defensive lineman at Hebron (Carrollton, TX) High School, Cunningham earned numerous all-state and all-area honors and participated in the 2003 U.S. Army All-American Game.
