Biography

Paul Lancaster enters his 24th overall season working in the NFL, including his eighth as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was elevated to senior director of player engagement during the 2022 offseason after joining the team as the director of player engagement in 2017.

In his position, Lancaster serves as a mentor and resource for all Eagles players off the field. He is responsible for building and maintaining relationships and promoting high standards of professionalism to help ensure success during and beyond players' NFL careers. In addition, Lancaster facilitates player participation in both league- and club-supported education and development initiatives.

Lancaster previously spent 16 seasons with the Buffalo Bills as the director of player programs. He also worked at Penn State University and California University of Pennsylvania.

A native of Brownsville, PA, Lancaster earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in counseling from California (PA), where he also played basketball.

Lancaster and his wife, Janine, currently reside in Philadelphia, PA. The couple has three sons: P.J., Hunter, and Tristan.
