With the 2011 season officially concluded, all football eyes now turn to NFL Draft. The next step in the run-up to April's festivities is the NFL Scouting Combine, which takes place in Indianapolis, IN, from February 22-28.
In front of NFL decision makers, this year's group of prospects will be weighed, measured, interviewed and tested on the field as teams continue to formulate their draft strategies. This year, 327 players have been invited to participate in the festivities. The position breakdown is as follows:
Quarterback: 19
Running back/Fullback: 30
Wide receiver: 47
Tight end: 14
Offensive line: 55
Defensive line: 59
Linebacker: 33
Defensive back: 58
Kicker/punter: 11
Long snapper: 1
