In 1996, the Eagles added two players who are now enshrined in the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame - Brian Dawkins and Troy Vincent.
When Dawkins enters the Pro Football Hall of Fame this August, Vincent will be on stage with his former teammate. Dawkins announced on Tuesday that he has chosen Vincent to present him for induction.
"We came there the same year. He took me up under his wing of becoming a professional, not just a football player, but a professional. The details that he went through, meticulous, of how he played the position of cornerback were the same way that he lived his life," Dawkins said in an interview with the Pro Football Hall of Fame. "Troy was the perfect guy to introduce me into the Hall of Fame."
