With a sack of Jay Cutler on the Bears' first offensive drive of the game, Trent Cole broke a tie with Clyde Simmons to etch himself in second place in the Eagles' all-time sack list. The sack, which ended the Bears drive on 3rd-and-3, was Cole's sixth of the season and the 77th of his career.
After a slow start to the season sack-wise, Cole now has all six of his sacks over the last seven games.
In second, Cole trails only Reggie White atop the franchise's list of most productive pass rushers, though White's 124 sacks as an Eagle remain far in the distance.
Update: Cole nothced another sack in the second quarter, bringing his career total to 78.
Second update: Hunter gonna hunt. Another quarter, another sack for Cole, who now has eight for the season and 79 for his career.
