Safety Colt Anderson agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts on Monday evening.
Anderson spent the majority of four seasons with the Eagles after being plucked off the Minnesota Vikings practice squad in 2010. Even though he joined the Eagles in November of the 2010 season, Anderson made enough of an impact on special teams that he was voted as one of the team captains for the playoffs.
One of the best special teams players in the league during his tenure with the Eagles, Anderson recorded 46 special teams tackles in midnight green. In 2013, Anderson led the Eagles with a career-high 16 special teams tackles.
Anderson fought back from a devastating knee injury in 2011 to return to the lineup in 2012 when he started the final four games of that season at safety and led the team with 36 tackles in that span. Anderson was named the Eagles' recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award following the season.
Originally a rookie free agent signing of the Vikings in 2009, Anderson finished his college career ranked fifth in Montana history with 313 tackles.
