Colts Sign QB Morris Off Practice Squad

On Thursday morning, the Indianapolis Colts announced that they have signed quarterback Stephen Morris off of the Eagles' practice squad.

Morris joined the Eagles just before the start of the 2015 regular season. The team claimed him off of waivers after he was part of Jacksonville's final roster cutdown. Originally an undrafted free agent out of the University of Miami, Morris spent the first two games of the season on the Eagles' active roster. He was released on September 21 when the team signed Thad Lewis, but he returned to the Eagles' practice squad after clearing waivers.

The Eagles have not announced a corresponding move.
