Cornerback Asante Samuel and wide receiver Riley Cooper will each return to practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Andy Reid. Both players missed last Sunday's win over the 49ers after each player suffered a concussion the previous week against the Redskins.
Running back LeSean McCoy, who was outstanding in the win over the 49ers, will not practice on Wednesday. McCoy valiantly played despite a rib injury suffered in the Redskins game. Wearing a flak jacket to help protect him, McCoy rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown and added 46 receiving yards in the win over the 49ers. Reid said he expected McCoy to practice on Thursday.
Guard Todd Herremans will not practice on Wednesday due to swelling in his knee. He, too, should practice on Thursday, per Reid.
