CHICAGO --It's no surprise that cornerback Asante Samuel is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bears. He was ruled out on Saturday and did not make the team flight.
It is somewhat of a surprise that the Eagles will be without starting left defensive end Juqua Parker, who has been declared inactive for Sunday's game. Parker has battled a hip flexor injury. He was limited last week against the Giants and did not practice all this week. He was questionable for the game and did, in fact, make the team flight.
Joselio Hanson starts at left cornerback for Samuel. Rookie Brandon Graham is in for Parker. Darryl Tapp will see more action at defensive end and rookie Trevard Lindley will see reps at cornerback.
The Eagles will have starting defensive tackle Antonio Dixon, who was questionable with an abdominal strain.
Also inactive for the Eagles are wide receiver Chad Hall, tackle Austin Howard, guard Reggie Wells, tight end Garrett Mills, quarterback Mike Kafka (3rd QB) and newly signed cornerback Brandon Hughes.
The Bears did not have an injury report on Friday. That's how healthy they are at this time of the season. Their inactive are - Caleb Hanie (3rd QB), safety Craig Steltz, cornerback Joshua Moore, running back Kahlil Bell, guard Edwin Williams, tight end Desmond Clark, defensive end Barry Turner and defensive end Corey Wootton.
