The Eagles will be without defensive end Derek Barnett and running back Darren Sproles on Sunday.
It will be the fourth straight game without Sproles, who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Barnett, who missed practice this week with a shoulder injury, had a crucial fourth-quarter sack in the Eagles' last home game against the Colts. His loss will mean a shuffling of the defensive front and possible playing time for rookie defensive end Josh Sweat.
Running back Corey Clement missed last week's game against Tennessee with a quad injury and is questionable for Sunday against the Vikings. He did not practice at all during the week. If Clement does not play, the Eagles will have Jay Ajayi, Wendell Smallwood, and Josh Adams as their three running backs for the second game in a row. Defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was limited in practice on Friday with a calf injury and is questionable for Sunday. Without Ngata, the Eagles may turn to Treyvon Hester at defensive tackle, who was recently promoted from the practice squad to the active roster.
Defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (ankle), wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (chest), and tackle Jason Peters (quad) were all full participants on Thursday after missing some practice time during the week. They are good to go on Sunday.
The Vikings will be without cornerback Trae Waynes (concussion), All-Pro defensive end Everson Griffen (knee/not injury related), defensive end Tashawn Bower (ankle), and cornerback Marcus Sherels (ribs). Running back Dalvin Cook was limited in practice on Friday with a hamstring injury after not practicing on Wednesday or Thursday. He is questionable for Sunday.
