If the free agency frenzy wasn't enough for Eagles fans on the first day, there might be more in store on day two. The Eagles confirmed that they are hosting former 49ers defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois for a visit Wednesday.
Even though the Eagles agreed to terms on Tuesday with Jean-Francois' linemate, Isaac Sopoaga, the team is still looking to add pieces for what is expected to be a versatile defensive scheme under new coordinator Bill Davis.
The 26-year-old Jean Francois was a seventh-round pick in 2009 and has since been a key role player for the 49ers. He started three games last season, totaling 22 tackles and two sacks over 16 games. Jean Francois is 6-foot-3, 295 pounds and can play defensive tackle in a 4-3, and lined up in all three defensive line positions in the 49ers' 3-4 scheme last season.
