Doug Pederson: 'I Want All Of The Starters To Play'

Head coach Doug Pederson said that he wants "all of the starters to play" Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.

"I'm not using the term preseason with our guys," said Pederson, referring to the regular-season finale with home-field advantage already secured.

Pederson wants to "be smart" with how long the starters play. He won't have the players on a specific snap count. The primary thing he is looking for is execution.

Defensive end Brandon Graham is unlikely to play with the ankle injury he incurred Monday night against Oakland.

There is "still a chance" cornerback Sidney Jones will be placed on the active roster and make his NFL debut Sunday. Pederson wants to see how Jones gets through Friday's practice, but from a health standpoint, the rookie is doing well. The Eagles will have to make a corresponding roster move if Jones is added to the 53-man crew.

As part of the final prep for Sunday, Pederson has the players practicing outdoors at the Linc to prep for the cold weather. It is expected to be windy with a low of 8 degrees on Sunday, according to NBC Philadelphia's weather forecast.
