Head coach Doug Pederson said that the Eagles "kind of have to" prepare for Thursday night's game at Carolina thinking they will not have right tackle Lane Johnson who is in the concussion protocol.

Johnson suffered the concussion in the first half of Sunday's win over Arizona. Halapoulivaati Vaitai came in for Johnson and will start if Johnson is unable to play. Pederson admitted that it will be "hard on a short week" for Johnson to be cleared.

Pederson also said that he will continue the rotation at left guard, although Stefen Wisniewski will receive additional snaps. Wisniewski started and played 42 snaps compared to 25 for Chance Warmack.

Backup lineman Isaac Seumalo will get some reps at tackle this week. He made one start at right tackle as a rookie.

The Eagles will conduct a walk-through Monday afternoon and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox is expected to participate. At that time, the Eagles will have a better gauge as to whether or not Cox will practice on Tuesday. He has missed the last two games with a calf injury.
