The NFL announced on Thursday that the 2010 NFL Draft will be a three-day affair beginning with the first round on Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 PM.
"We continue to look for ways to make the draft more accessible to more fans," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "Moving the first round to prime time on Thursday night will make the first round of the draft available to fans on what is typically the most-watched night of television."
The second and third rounds will be held on Friday evening beginning at 6:30 PM and the final four rounds will take place on Saturday at 10 AM. Now, you'll really have to be special to be a first-day draft pick. This is the first time that the draft will take place over a span of three days. It has been a Saturday-Sunday event since 1995. From 1988-94, it was held on Sunday and Monday. Previous to that, it was held on either one or two weekdays.
The 75th edition of the NFL Draft will once again be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
