The Eagles released a Saturday injury update and have downgraded defensive tackle Trevor Laws from probable to questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. Laws was a full participant in practice all week despite a knee injury.
If Laws is limited, the Eagles could have rookie defensive tackle Cedric Thornton active for the first time in his career. Thornton was promoted from the practice squad to the 53-man active roster on Monday when wide receiver Steve Smith was placed on injured reserve.
The Eagles have another defensive tackle questionable for Sunday's game in Cullen Jenkins due to a groin injury. Jenkins is expected to start. Also on the defensive line, defensive end Darryl Tapp is doubtful with a rib injury.
