Undrafted rookie defensive tackle Cedric Thornton is the final member of the Eagles' practice squad after the team re-signed him Monday afternoon. Earlier, the Eagles added tight end and wide receiver Ronald Johnson to the practice squad.
Thornton was a surprise inclusion on the initial 53-man roster Saturday, but he was released Sunday in order to make room for former Colts offensive lineman Kyle DeVan. The Southern Arkansas product had an impressive preseason, taking well to the coaching of Jim Washburn, and earning him an initial roster spot over the likes of Anthony Hargrove and Derek Landri.
The rest of the Eagles' practice squad consists of wide receiver Chad Hall, defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, offensive lineman Dallas Reynolds, fullback Stanley Havili and linebacker Greg Lloyd.
