The Eagles are the 2024 Super Bowl Champions, which typically comes with the honor of hosting the inaugural game of the 2025 season on Thursday Night Football.

Here is what we know so far about next season, as the dates and times of each game will be announced later this offseason:

  • The Eagles will have eight home games and nine road games
  • As always, they will play the entire NFC East twice (Home and Away)
  • As the NFC East Champions, they will have a first-place schedule, playing the first-place teams in the AFC East, NFC West, and NFC South
  • They will play the entire AFC West and NFC North
  • There will be a Super Bowl LIX rematch against the Chiefs in Kansas City
  • 10 of their opponents made the 2024 playoffs

Dallas Cowboys (Home and Away)

After splitting the season series the previous two years, the Eagles swept the Cowboys in dominant fashion in 2024. Philadelphia took down Dallas 34-6 in Week 10 at AT&T Stadium in the first meeting. In the second, the score wasn't much different, at the Eagles won 41-7 in their second and final Kelly Green game of the season with Kenny Pickett filling in for the injured Jalen Hurts. The Cowboys finished 7-10 in 2024, with a 3-3 record in the division.

New York Giants (Home and Away)

Saquon Barkley made his return to MetLife Stadium in Week 7, helping the Eagles take down the Giants 28-3 with 176 rushing yards and a touchdown. The two teams met again in the regular-season finale, with Philadelphia taking it 20-13 with its backups primarily playing due to the Eagles' playoff seeding already being locked in. The Giants finished an NFC-worst 3-14.

Washington Commanders (Home and Away)

The Eagles met the Commanders on Thursday Night Football in Week 11, coming away with a 26-18 victory against the now Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels and company. In Week 16, Washington tied up the season series with a 36-33 win after Hurts left the game with a concussion in the first quarter. The two met for a third time in the NFC Championship Game, with the Eagles securing a 55-23 win to advance to their second Super Bowl in three years. Washington finished 12-5 in the regular season, its first with Daniels and Head Coach Dan Quinn.

Buffalo Bills (Away)

The Eagles will travel to Buffalo for the first time since 2019, where they came away with a 31-13 victory over the Bills. Their last meeting came in 2023, where Jalen Hurts scored the game-winning touchdown on a rainy night at Lincoln Financial Field for a 37-34 overtime win. The Bills fell to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship this past season after a 13-4 campaign (AFC East Champions). The 2025 matchup is set up to be the reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen versus Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts.

Chicago Bears (Home)

The Eagles can get their first look at new Head Coach Ben Johnson and 2024 No. 1 pick Caleb Williams when they host the Bears next season. It will be the first matchup since 2022, when Philadelphia won 25-20 at Soldier Field. The Bears went 5-12 in 2024 but could be on the rise in 2025 with a new coach and a more experienced quarterback.

Denver Broncos (Home)

Standout rookie Bo Nix will get his first taste of the Eagles from Lincoln Financial Field next season. Denver was the No. 7 seed in the 2024 playoffs, falling to the Bills in the Wild Card Round following a 10-7 regular season. The two teams last met in Denver in 2021, with the rookie DeVonta Smith grabbing two touchdowns en route to a 30-13 Eagles' win.

Detroit Lions (Home)

The A.J. Brown era kicked off the last time these teams met in Detroit in 2022, with the Eagles winning 38-35. Brown had 10 catches for 155 yards in his Eagles' debut. Since then, the Lions have only gotten better, earning the No. 1 seed with a 15-2 record in 2024 (NFC North Champions). Their recent season came to an end in the Divisional Round against Washington.

Green Bay Packers (Away)

These two met in Brazil to open the 2024 season and then again in the Wild Card Round with the Eagles taking both matchups. The last time Philadelphia played at Lambeau Field, then-rookie Jalen Hurts saw his first meaningful action at quarterback. The Eagles have won the last three meetings against the Packers, going back to 2022. Green Bay notched the No. 7 seed in the 2024 playoffs with a record of 11-6.

Kansas City Chiefs (Away)

This will be the second consecutive regular-season meeting between these teams coming as a Super Bowl rematch. The Eagles denied Kansas City's chance for a three-peat with a 40-22 victory in Super Bowl LIX. The previous matchup was a Monday night prime-time thriller won by the Eagles at Arrowhead Stadium in 2023. The Chiefs clinched the No. 1 seed again in 2024, going 15-2 in the regular season.

Las Vegas Raiders (Home)

The Eagles haven't played the Raiders since 2021, and they haven't hosted them at Lincoln Financial Field since Christmas 2017. The two have played 14 times all-time, with the series split 7-7. The Raiders finished 4-13 and own the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft as they continue to rebuild.

Los Angeles Chargers (Away)

The Chargers put together an 11-6 season in the first year under Jim Harbaugh, clinching the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoffs before falling in the Wild Card Round. The Eagles last played the Chargers in Los Angeles in 2017, winning 26-24 behind a 136-yard rushing performance from LeGarrette Blount. This will be the first meeting between the teams at SoFi Stadium.

Los Angeles Rams (Home)

Philadelphia was successful both on the road and at home against the Rams in 2024. In Week 12 in Los Angeles, Saquon Barkley set a single-game franchise-record with 255 yards on the ground in the 37-20 win. The Eagles hosted the Rams in the Divisional Round on a snowy day, coming away with a 28-22 win thanks to Barkley's 205 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Rams went 10-7 in 2024, earning the NFC's No. 4 seed (NFC West Champions).

Minnesota Vikings (Away)

The Eagles didn't see the Vikings in 2024, having played them on Thursday Night Football in 2023, winning 34-28. Minnesota put together a 14-3 season with the help of 2024 NFL Head Coach of the Year Kevin O'Connell and quarterback Sam Darnold before losing in the Wild Card Round to the Rams.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Away)

The Eagles fell to Tampa Bay in Week 4 of the 2024 season in Tampa Bay and have lost their previous two meetings, including in the Wild Card Round of 2023. In 2025, Philadelphia will head back to Raymond James Stadium for a chance at redemption. The Buccaneers finished 10-7 in the regular season (NFC South Champions), but fell to Washington in the Wild Card Round. The Eagles, of course, only lost one time after the battle in Tampa Bay.
