The Eagles signed linebacker Jaboree Williams on Sunday morning. The Eagles will practice later this afternoon for the first time since Thursday's game in Cleveland. There was an open roster spot after safety Stephen Roberts was waived on Saturday. Join us at noon as head coach Doug Pederson will address the media.
Williams is a rookie free agent out of Wake Forest who was a tryout player in the Eagles' Rookie Camp earlier this spring.
At 6-0, 245 pounds, the 22-year-old Williams had 147 tackles, 19.5 for loss, 4.5 sacks, and two interceptions for the Demon Deacons. This past season, he was third on the team with 85 tackles and notched an interception in the victory over Syracuse. He ended his collegiate career with a team-high 11 tackles, a fumble recovery, and an interception in the Belk Bowl win over Texas A&M.
