The Eagles added some offensive line depth Sunday, claiming guard Kyle DeVan off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts. DeVan, 6-2, 294, is plenty familiar with the scheme of offensive line coach Howard Mudd as he started nine games at right guard for the Colts in 2009, Mudd's last season in Indianapolis. Later that season, DeVan started in Super Bowl XLIV. The 26-year-old started 12 games at left guard for the Colts in 2010.
In order to make room on the roster for DeVan, the Eagles released defensive tackle Cedric Thornton.
As the roster continues to take shape, the Eagles agreed to terms on practice squad contracts with wide receiver Chad Hall, fullback Stanley Havili, linebacker Greg Lloyd, defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim and offensive lineman Dallas Reynolds.
