Call it the appetizer before the main course, but the NFL unveiled its 2019 preseason schedule on Tuesday.
The Eagles will host the Tennessee Titans at Lincoln Financial Field to kick off the preseason in Week 1. The exact dates and times will be announced in the future, but the opener against the Titans will take place between August 8-12.
Philadelphia hits the road for Week 2 of the preseason (August 15-19) to battle the Jacksonville Jaguars at TIAA Bank Field.
The final home preseason contest pits the Eagles against the Baltimore Ravens on a date between August 22-25. The Eagles and the Ravens will also hold joint practices leading up to their exhibition game.
And, lastly, the annual end-of-the-preseason battle between the Eagles and the New York Jets will take place at MetLife Stadium on either August 29 or 30. These two teams have played to conclude the preseason every year since 2001. The Eagles and the Jets will also play in the regular season this year as Philadelphia squares off against each of the AFC East teams.
The 2019 regular-season schedule will be revealed at a later time. The Eagles play each of the NFC East teams twice in the regular season, along with the AFC East and NFC North teams as well as the second-place finishers in the NFC South (Atlanta) and NFC West (Seattle).
