The Eagles are 1-0 this season in white jerseys and look to get win No. 2 this Sunday when they travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints.
For the first time this year, however, the Eagles will pair the white jerseys with midnight green helmets and pants. In Week 1, the Eagles debuted an all-new look for the first-ever regular-season game in South America, wearing white jerseys with black pants and black helmets in the 34-29 victory over the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Eagles' last win in the white jersey/midnight green pants combination came in Week 8 of last season, when they beat the Washington Commanders, 38-31. That game provided a catch of the year candidate. Unfortunately, A.J. Brown will not be suiting up on Sunday as he is recovering from a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, the Saints are wearing black jerseys and black pants on Sunday, the same uniform combination as their first two games. New Orleans was 5-2 last season in the black-on-black uniforms.
The Eagles departed Philadelphia for New Orleans on Saturday. The trip to the city known as the Big Easy will be quite a challenge as the Saints are 2-0 to start the season and will be playing in front of a fired-up Superdome crowd.
