The Eagles will celebrate Nick Foles' retirement by wearing the same uniform combination as they did when the quarterback captured Super Bowl MVP honors.
The team announced on Friday that it will wear midnight green helmets and jerseys and white pants for their first game at Lincoln Financial Field this season on Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons.
Philadelphia has won four of its last five games against the Falcons, including Nick Sirianni's debut as head coach to open the 2021 season. The recent success against the Falcons includes the triumph in the 2017 NFC Divisional Round, where Foles was the Eagles' quarterback.
The Eagles are 9-5 in the midnight green jerseys over the past two seasons (.642 win percentage) and have won seven straight games in the month of September, the longest active streak in the NFL and team history.
The Eagles defeated the Packers 34-29 in the NFL's first-ever game played in South America on September 6. Check out some of the best photos from the special night in São Paolo, Brazil.
