The Eagles broke the franchise record for most touchdowns in a single season after quarterback Nick Foles tossed a short 3-yard pass to running back LeSean McCoy who had nothing but wide open space to get into the end zone. It was the 51st touchdown for the Eagles breaking the previous mark of 50 set back in 1948.
The touchdown gave the Eagles a 10-0 lead with 14:13 left in the second quarter. McCoy's scoring play finished off a 10-play, 88-yard drive which took all of 4:20.
