The Eagles released running back Joique Bell in mid-November to bring safety Colt Anderson on board. Bell quickly found a home with the Indianapolis Colts, but never touched the ball in five games with the team. Bell was insurance as the Colts dealt with a number of injuries at the running back position. With players getting healthy, the Colts released Bell on Wednesday. Well, he wasn't on the street long.
The Eagles signed Bell to the practice squad on Thursday. To make room, tight end Cornelius Ingram was released. The 5-11, 220-pound Bell was originally signed off of the Bills practice squad. The rookie out of Wayne State had a strong preseason for Buffalo, rushing for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Bell was active for three of the six games that he was on the Eagles active roster.
