The week off certainly helped the Eagles. Guard Todd Herremans was the only Eagle not to participate in Wednesday's practice.
But even Herremans is making significant progress with the stress fracture in his foot that required surgery in August. Head coach Andy Reid said that the doctors removed the boot from Herremans' foot and he is able to now run on land. Herremans said on Monday that he would like to return for the Oct. 18 game in Oakland. He originally stated that his target date for return was the Oct. 26 Monday night game in Washington.
Herremans has missed each of the Eagles' first three games this season.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb (rib), running back Brian Westbrook (ankle) and wide receiver Kevin Curtis (knee) all missed the Week 3 win over the Chiefs, but were full participants in Wednesday's workout. Also on the injury report were: safety Quintin Demps (hamstring), cornerback Ellis Hobbs (illness), guard Max Jean-Gilles (shoulder), tackle Winston Justice (hamstring) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (hand). All five of those players were full participants in practice as well.
Three key Buccaneers were limited in Wednesday's practice. **Click here** for the complete injury report.
