Prior to the start of today's game against the Arizona Cardinals, the Eagles announced that the following players will be inactive:
QB Matt Barkley
T Dennis Kelly
T Matt Tobin
S Earl Wolff
LB Emmanuel Acho
CB Curtis Marsh
RB Matthew Tucker
Nick Foles will start at quarterback with Michael Vick serving as his backup. Vick is active for the first time since Ocotber 27.
On the defensive side, the Eagles secondary is a bit shorthanded without Wolff and Marsh. Patrick Chung will start at safety, and Roc Carmichael will provide depth at cornerback. With Acho inactive, Casey Matthews, Jake Knott, and Najee Goode will be the backups at inside linebacker.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals announced that the following players will not play:
RB Andre Ellington
QB Ryan Lindley
RB Ryan Williams
LB Dontay Moch
G Earl Watford
TE Kory Sperry
DE Ronald Talley
The loss of Ellington will be a big one for the Cardinals, as he has been their hottest running back as of late. Rashard Mendenhall will get the start with Alfonso Smith and Stepfan Taylor coming off the bench.
