On the eve of the Eagles' NFC Divisional Round showdown against the New York Giants, the team announced a pair of roster moves:
• Elevated S Anthony Harris from the practice squad for the Giants game
The veteran safety provides valuable depth on both defense and special teams, especially with cornerback Avonte Maddox out with a toe injury. He led the Eagles' secondary with 72 tackles in the 2021 season. After being released at the end of this year's Training Camp, Harris signed with the Denver Broncos, where he played in three games. The Broncos released Harris in December and he promptly returned to the Eagles on the practice squad. This will mark his first appearance for the Eagles this season.
• Signed TE Dalton Keene to a reserve/future contract
Originally drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Keene saw time in six games and caught three passes for 16 yards during his rookie season but missed the entire 2021 season due to injury. Keene spent a month on the Eagles' practice squad during the 2022 season.
