The Eagles elevated tackle Le'Raven Clark and tight end Noah Togiai from the practice squad as COVID-19 replacements for tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They take the place of tight end Dallas Goedert and guard Sua Opeta who are on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Clark and Togiai will revert back to the practice squad following Thursday night's game.
Both Clark and Togiai previously played for the Indianapolis Colts under Head Coach Nick Sirianni and several members of the current coaching staff.
Clark was a COVID-19 replacement last Sunday against the Panthers where he made his Eagles debut playing three snaps on special teams. The Eagles originally signed Clark during the 2021 offseason. A former third-round pick of the Colts in 2016, Clark played in 47 regular-season games with 15 starts during his five years in Indianapolis. He returned from a 2020 Achilles injury in Training Camp and played 31 snaps in the preseason finale against the Jets.
Togiai was signed to the practice squad this week. Signed by the Eagles as a rookie free agent out of Oregon State following the 2020 NFL Draft, Togiai was released during the final roster cutdown and was claimed by the Indianapolis Colts where he spent the season. He played in four games, but did not record any stats. The 6-foot-4, 244-pound Togiai was just the sixth tight end in Beavers history to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards.
