Eagles Get To 53-Player Limit | |
---|---|
Player | Note |
LB Emmanuel Acho | Team's leading tackler in the preseason. Casey Matthews' ability to play both OLB and ILB saved roster spot. |
G Josh Andrews | Rookie free agent showed promise in Training Camp, but depth of O-Line a pleasant surprise overall. |
RB Kenjon Barner | Waived with an injury settlement. Acquired from Panthers in trade late in preseason. |
WR Arrelious Benn | Placed on Injured Reserve list with lower back injury. |
CB Roc Carmichael | Eagles liked Carmichael a lot after acquiring him in 2013. Started one game. Shows increased depth at CB. |
OL Kevin Graf | Thrown into guard duty Thursday night after Matt Tobin's injury. Backup O-line proved to be strength in preseason. |
K Alex Henery | Preseason misses opened door for Cody Parkey and the rookie delivered in a big way Thursday vs. Jets. |
WR Damaris Johnson | Versatile offensive threat. Set franchise record for longest punt return as a rookie in 2012. |
S Keelan Johnson | Need for a fifth safety not urgent with rookie Jaylen Watkins' ability to play both corner and safety. |
T Lane Johnson | Must begin serving four-game suspension. Can return after 49ers game. Doesn't count against active roster. |
RB Henry Josey | Rookie free agent was league's second-leading rusher in preseason. Amazing comeback from brutal knee injury. |
LB Josh Kaddu | Athletic linebacker with some NFL experience in Miami. Too much depth with Bryan Braman on special teams. |
NT Wade Keliilipi | Rookie free agent who had fewer snaps Thursday than Beau Allen and Damion Square. |
QB G.J. Kinne | Athletic, smart quarterback who moved the ball well in preseason. Eagles strong at QB with Foles, Sanchez and Barkley. |
LB Travis Long | Placed on Injured Reserve list after tearing ACL vs. Jets. Praised by the coaches all Training Camp. |
CB Curtis Marsh | Struggles in preseason well-documented, but showed improvement in Training Camp. Just didn't carry over. |
WR Ifeanyi Momah | One of the most improved players in this year's camp. Not quite all together yet, but amazing leap from 2013. |
WR Will Murphy | Reliable and trustworthy when it comes to knowledge of offense. Had four catches for 34 yards in preseason finale. |
WR Quron Pratt | Special teams work praised by veterans and coaches. New Jersey native and former Rutgers star made it to final cuts. |
S Ed Reynolds II | Don't know if missing OTAs had an impact, but smart, athletic safety unable to make climb up depth chart. |
NT Damion Square | Key reserve as a rookie free agent in 2013. Technician. Great character player. Depth improved on D-line this offseason. |
RB Matthew Tucker | League leader in rushing touchdowns this preseason. Displayed tough running style and good pass protection skills in preseason. |
