Defensive end Jason Babin is now a member of the Tennessee Titans after the Eagles informed the league they would not match the one-year offer sheet Babin signed with the Titans. It was an expected move, especially after the Eagles traded for Darryl Tapp earllier in the week.
Babin joined the Eagles last summer and played well as a reserve end, recording 2 1/2 quarterback sacks and playing with high energy. The Eagles had written a right-of-first-refusal clause into his contract when they signed Babin, who attracted a good deal of interest in free agency.
