After every touchdown at Lincoln Financial Field, almost 70,000 people join together in the chant of the Eagles' fight song, "Fly, Eagles Fly." On Wednesday, the Eagles actually took to the skies.
Eagles president Don Smolenski and general manager Howie Roseman were guests of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey where they flew in a KC 10 nicknamed "The Extender" which is used primarily for air refueling. They received the flight plan from Major Jermaine Boyd and Colonel Jon Spare before taking flight and participating in a mid-air refueling exercise. The brave men and women who defend our country on the base were die-hard Eagles fans who were happy to share the experience with the team.
Roseman was previously named a Honorary Commander for the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst for his charitable efforts with the military. Click here for more photos.
