The Eagles placed linebacker Nakobe Dean on Injured Reserve for the second time this season. He suffered a foot injury in the Week 9 win over the Dallas Cowboys just prior to the bye week.
The 5-11, 231-pound second-year player posted 30 tackles in five games this season with four starts. He was the primary signal-caller on defense to open the season. Dean suffered a foot injury in the season opener against the Patriots and went on Injured Reserve, missing the next four games. Dean returned for the Week 6 game against the Jets and played 32 snaps (49 percent) on defense. He tallied a career-high 13 tackles in the Week 8 win at Washington, while being on the field for 50 snaps.
Zach Cunningham (497) and Nicholas Morrow (421) lead the team in defensive snaps at the off-ball linebacker position this season. The Eagles also have Christian Elliss on the active roster, and Brandon Smith and Ben VanSumeren on the practice squad.
The Eagles did not announce any other corresponding roster moves. Safety Justin Evans and center/guard Cam Jurgens are eligible to return from Injured Reserve.
