The Eagles announced Monday the signing of wide receivers Reggie Davis, Braxton Miller, and Dorren Miller to the practice squad. To make room, the Eagles released tight end Billy Brown from the practice squad.
Davis signed with the Atlanta Falcons in May 2017 as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia. He was released by the Browns in September 2017, signed briefly with the Cleveland Browns off waivers, and returned to the Falcons in late September to play on the practice squad. He signed to a future/reserve contract with Atlanta in 2018 and was waived on September 1.
Braxton Miller played quarterback at Ohio State before being selected by the Houston Texans in the third round (85th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft as a wide receiver. He spent two seasons with the Texans, playing in 21 games (nine starts), with 34 receptions, 261 yards, and two touchdowns. He was waived by Houston on September 1.
Dorren Miller signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in April 2018 and was released on September 1. Last year, he had 37 catches for 868 yards and six touchdowns in his senior season at Division II Carson-Newman.
Brown signed with the Eagles as a rookie free agent in 2017 out of Shepherd and played on the practice squad throughout the season.
