Eagles president Joe Banner released a statement on Monday afternoon regarding the criticism of Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter for the postponement of the Vikings-Eagles game until Tuesday night.
"People are free to have their opinions on whether or not last night's Eagles game should have been postponed," Banner said. "That decision was ultimately made by the NFL. Any criticism of the Mayor, who was not involved in this decision, is completely unfair."
The Vikings-Eagles game will be played Tuesday night at 8 PM (EST) at Lincoln Financial Field. The game will be televised nationally on NBC. It is the first Tuesday NFL game since 1946. PhiladelphiaEagles.com's live coverage begins at 7:30 PM with the Kickoff Show followed by our new in-game experience which includes the Halftime Report. Following the game is the Post-Game Show presented by Ricoh.
Five days later, the Eagles will host the Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field. The start time for the Cowboys game has been changed by the NFL from 1 PM (EST) to 4:15 PM (EST).
