The Eagles announced on Tuesday afternoon that they protected the following practice squad players ahead of the Week 9 showdown with the New York Giants:
• G Jamon Brown – The veteran guard started against Baltimore and played in the first matchup with the Giants. The Eagles did activate guard Isaac Seumalo's 21-day practice window on Monday. Seumalo has been sidelined since the home opener in Week 2 against the Rams.
• TE Jason Croom – The Eagles only have two tight ends on the active roster with Zach Ertz still on Injured Reserve. Croom played 13 snaps on offense over four games, registering one catch for a 3-yard touchdown.
• CB Michael Jacquet – Thrust into action against the Cowboys, the rookie free agent played 30 snaps on defense and another five on special teams.
• DT T.Y. McGill – The Eagles have just three defensive tackles on the active roster. McGill filled the need for a fourth against the Giants, playing 15 snaps on defense.
